I bought this online from another seller in 2008 after becoming disabled after a car accident. It was $850 then and it's been worth every dollar spent. I have been stopped many times while out shopping by those who are looking for an alternative to the typical mobility scooter.
Pros: Moves quickly from parking lot to store, and back again. (advantage when there's bad weather)
Can disassemble and reassemble for car transport.
Battery charge last a long time.
Can Charge battery pack when separated from scooter.
Seat is higher than typical scooter. (can reach more products while sitting)
Cons: Geared for faster speeds and does not perform as well at slower speeds.
Does not stop when throttle is released like a mobility scooter. You have to use the hand break!
Basket is too small for major shopping trips. Take a friend to push a grocery buggy.
Caution: This is a Pre-Mobility scooter and not meant for people who have balance or stability issues.
This scooter is not able to climb steep hills with less than top speeds and works best on flat surfaces.
It operates like a bicycle and will lean and tilt some when turning.
I hope this review has been helpful for those of you looking to live life as independently as possible. Good luck, be safe, and God Bless you.
Excellent Product Design and Performance. Excellent Customer Service Support.
Everyone was so helpful. Be sure to call or e-mail at anytime if you have any scooter questions.
When you buy this scooter you will be glad you did.
I have one. It's as easy as he shows. However, each part does weigh a bit. I sure like the speed of this thing!! No one is ever waiting on me!! This ain't no wal-mart scooter!! ;-)
