Bought this a week ago since my mobility has taken a significant hit due to multiple sclerosis. Rides well, adjustable speed so I can stay in pace with my wife, goes up hills without a problem, EXCELLENT maneuverability, hold a good charge in the battery. Looks nice and is a comfortable ride to boot! Definitely an excellent purchase!
I have diabetic neuropathy that has spread above my ankles. Walking had become very difficult and I was not able to do of the normal things I had enjoyed. I had to hope the stores that offer "mobility chairs" would have one available and charged.
I now own my very own scooter. It is clean and charged whenever I want it. I have been to a Christmas Bizarre and outting with my family.
My one con to this purchase is the weight of the base. I cannot lift it myself and I have to have a very strong friend or my husband with me in order to use it. I will probably have to purchase a traler hitch drive on attachment for me to experience true freedom.
My upper body strength makes it fairly easy to lift it into my Dodge Caliber. The frame weight about 40 pounds, and the seat and lift out
battery case are much less. I can set it up in just a few minutes and I'm ready to go. It handles as stated and easily takes ramps and makes very tight turns, which is great in the narrow isles of department stores and markets. The only con is leg space. I'm 5' 7' so I can manage okay, but a bigger person might be a little uncomfortable. Also, an ignition key would be nice, which was added to later models. No bells and whistles, but it gives me what I need and what it's made for, GREAT MOBILITY.
This is a great easy to use and travel with scooter. Glad I got mine. Have used everyday since I got it charges easily and runs a long time one the charge
wife's leg paralysis requires transfer from wheelchair to a swivelling scooter seat. Cannot use fixed position seat. Otherwise, was very impressed with the scooter. Very well designed and constructed.(I am a Professional Engineer)
